Privacy Policy

What data we collect
None. Yaadi is a fully local, offline-first application. Every task, category, note, and tag you create is written to a database that lives entirely on your phone. Nothing is ever sent to us, to a cloud service, or to any third party — because Yaadi has no server to send it to. The app works identically with your phone in airplane mode as it does with a full network connection, which is a direct consequence of this design, not a feature we had to build separately.
Analytics, ads, and tracking
Yaadi contains no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, no crash reporting service, and no third-party tracking library of any kind. We have no way of knowing how many people use the app, what tasks they create, or how they use it, because that information is never transmitted to us.
What happens when you uninstall the app
All of your tasks and categories are permanently deleted the moment you uninstall Yaadi. Since nothing is backed up to a cloud service, this action cannot be undone. We consider this an acceptable trade-off for the privacy guarantee above, but we want it stated plainly here so it's never a surprise.
Permissions Yaadi requests, and why
- Notifications — to show you a reminder when a task you've scheduled is due.
- Exact alarms — so that a reminder set for 6:00pm actually fires at 6:00pm, rather than at some approximate later time.
- Ignore battery optimizations (optional, requested once) — some phone manufacturers aggressively restrict background apps in ways that can delay or silently drop scheduled reminders; this permission asks your phone not to do that for Yaadi specifically.
- Restart notifications after reboot — so your scheduled reminders continue to work after you restart your phone, without needing to reopen the app first.
None of these permissions involve sending any information off of your device. They exist solely so that local, on-device reminders work reliably.
Data shared with third parties
None. Yaadi does not integrate with any third-party service that would receive your data, because Yaadi does not transmit data anywhere in the first place.
Children's privacy
Yaadi is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, of any age — since it does not collect information from anyone at all.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future version of Yaadi introduces an optional cloud backup feature — this page will be updated first, and the change will be clearly described here before it applies to you.
